At MRRCH, our NICU Department is dedicated to providing high-quality care for newborns who require specialised medical attention. We provide a range of key features and services to ensure the well-being and optimal development of our precious little patients.
When a baby is born there are a lot of changes he or she needs to adapt to. Once delivered, the baby is no longer dependent on his/her mother for blood supply and placenta. In some cases, the baby may have trouble during the transition outside the womb which is when they need intensive medical care.

We are equipped with advanced haemodynamic monitoring, point-of-care ultrasound, and echocardiography to assess cardiac conditions.
This includes high-frequency oscillatory ventilation and surfactant administration. Additionally, we provide non-invasive ventilation, high-flow therapy, and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) to assist with breathing.
Our NICU staff has expertise in managing neonatal cardiac cases, providing peritoneal dialysis, and addressing endocrine and metabolic cases. We also offer advanced neuro-critical care including neurosurgical interventions.
We understand how important the nutritional needs of newborns are for their growth and development. We provide customised parenteral nutrition when required. We also offer lactation counselling to support breastfeeding.
