Post-Surgical Recovery: Children recovering from complex surgeries receive specialised attention and monitoring in our PICU.

What we offer

Advanced Technology: We use advanced monitoring systems to closely monitor vital signs, including continuous cardiac monitoring, invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring, and continuous oxygenation monitoring along with point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and Echo.

Mechanical Ventilation Techniques: Our PICU is equipped with specialised ventilators capable of delivering various respiratory support modes, including conventional ventilation, high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) for severe respiratory failure.

Paediatric Sedation and Pain Management: Our team is skilled in paediatric sedation and pain management techniques, ensuring that children under our care feel as little discomfort as possible.

Family-Centred Approach: At our PICU, we recognise that a critical illness can have an impact on the whole family. This is why we prioritise a family-centred approach. We make sure to keep families informed about their loved one’s condition, involve them in the care process, and offer emotional support and resources to help them during these difficult times
